Now change the value for the Max file size input.

For example, if you want to set a 5MB upload limit, then you should set the value to approximately 5000.

 

You can change the maximum upload limits of videos and attachments the same way as you do for images.

Go to WPL -> Flex -> Video. Edit and change maximum file size.

]]> <![CDATA[How to add Virtual tour to the Property show page]]> If you wish to add a virtual tour to your single property page, you can do it very easily.

When editing a property in the WPL > Listing Manager, you would need to go to the "Video" section. Here you can add your virtual tour. Enter a name for the title and fill in the "Video description" if needed. In the "Video embed code", add the code of your tour. 

 

After editing, do not forget to finalize your changes by clicking the blue 'Finalize' button at the top.

Depending on the layer of the virtual tour, it can be displayed in different ways.

After this, the virtual tour will appear in the matching entry page. If it is still not showing there, You need to check the "listing_video" activity to make sure it is enabled. For this purpose please go to WPL -> Activity manager -> Check "listing_video" activity to be in the list and be activated. You can edit this activity and change the size of virtual tour.

]]> <![CDATA[How to change image size on listing and single listing page?]]> WPL is using an internal extension called "activity" for creating page sections. Activities have a config form, so you can simply configure them based on your theme requirements.

For changing image sizes on the listing (property listing) or single listing (property show) pages you should use the WPL activity manager. Please click on "activity manager", search for 'gallery' and edit desired activity. You can then change the image sizes.

]]> <![CDATA[How to enable Modern/Gallery/Lightbox layout for property images ...]]> Since WPL2.7.0 we added a new layout for gallery activity named "pshow_modern". It has a lightbox slider in addition to normal slider. So, when someone clicks on any image in the property details page, he/she will see a lightbox showing actual images (Normally bigger size) using a slider. For enabling this layout navigate to WPL->Activity Manager and search for "listing_gallery". Please check following figures.

In order to do this go to WPL -> Activity Manager -> Edit "listing_gallery" activity which you want to fix:

1- Property show page --> "pshow_gallery" position
2- Property listing page --> "wpl_property_listing_image" positions


Then change the height to your desire height and set width as "auto", Like the following picture:



This way your pictures will be resized automaticly.]]> <![CDATA[How to show/hide property tags?]]> Since WPL3.3.0, we added an option to show/hide property tags on gallery activities and carousel widget. 

If you updated your WPL to latest version, then you're able to show the property tags on your desired section or even hide them if you don't like to show them. For this, you just need to edit "listing_gallery" activities on WPL->Activity Manager menu and configure "Show Tags" option.

Also you can do the same for carousel widgets. You can open carousel form in Appearance->Widgets menu and set the "Show Tags" option.

]]> <![CDATA[What is the difference between image resize methods?]]> On the WPL backend -> settings -> Gallery:

There are 3 ways to resize images:

1. Resize

2. Crop Resize

3. Crop Resize (Center)

In this example, the original image is 620 x 358:

Assume our desired width and height is 300 x 300.

If you choose the first option (resize), your image will be resized according to the desired width and height without losing any part of the picture.

However, the original image is wide and the resized one is square.  You will lose the original shape.  See the image below:

If you choose the second option (crop resize), the dimension scale is different.  It doesn't change the shape of image, but it crops a section of the image out from the right.  The only original part of the image remaining is the top left.  See image below:

If you select the third option (crop resize (center)) it is similar to the second option, except the center of image will be cropped instead of the top left.

Note: After changing the image resize method, please remove listings and users thumbnails using the maintenance section below the settings:

]]> <![CDATA[Why listing images don't show on front-end of website?]]> If you uploaded the images on backend Add/Edit Listing menu and they are shown just fine on this menu but they're not shown on the frontend, then please check the followings:

1- Make sure the gallery activities are enabled.

Navigate to WPL->Activity Manager and search for "gallery" term and then make sure the activities are enabled.

2- Make sure the images are enabled.

WPL has a feature for disabling listing images. The images are enabled by default but sometimes our clients disable them by mistake. Please edit your desired listing and navigate to Gallery section and make sure a tick icon is showing in the right section of image box. If it's cross icon, then click it to change to tick icon.

Note: Media Confirm feature is disabled by default so you don't see tick icon unless you enable the Media Confirm first from the WPL->Settings menu.

3- Make sure that gallery activity is accessible by all users.

WPL activities has a feature for managing display access. You should make sure that gallery activity accesses and Page Associations are set correctly.

]]> <![CDATA[Why my thumbnail photos don't change in my listings? ]]> If your thumbnail photos do not change in your listings, you will need to delete all listing thumbnails.

To delete all of your listing thumbnails, go to: WPL Backend -> Settings -> Maintenance box -> Click on the Clear listing thumbnails or Clear user thumbnails links.

If you have installed the MLS add-on and use it on your website, you can enable the remove thumbnails option through: WPL Backend -> Settings page -> Global tab -> 'Clear thumbnails after updating' field.

It removes them after each MLS updates and you don't need to do that manually.
