Let's say 'bedroom' is a Property Type specific field for "apartment" and "villa", and you have recently added a new Property Type for condominiums.  The bedroom field is not showing for the condominium Property Type. In order to show the bedroom field for the condominium Property Type, you would need to edit the bedroom field and assign condominium to the synced items of the bedroom field.

So these fields won't show until you select the  Property Type or Listing Type on the Listing Wizard or Search Widget.  Please see the screenshots below:

Then set the specificable to the Listing Type specific or Property Type specific and select the desired items. Please see screenshots below:

When you add new listing types and/or new property types in the future, you must modify the specific fields and add the new items if needed.  Otherwise the fields won't show on the new Listing Type or new Property Type.

How does Flex menu work?

Bedrooms, Rooms, Price, type etc. is not showing on listing wizard or search widget!

Each Shortcode ("View" option) has its own configuration form. You can set the configuration form if needed and click on "insert" to see the generated shortcode into your post/page content.

Unfortunately it is not possible to assign a certain property into multiple listing types.  If you want to assign a property to "for sale" and "for rent" listing types, we can suggest you to do the following:

Method 1

Create a new listing type and name it “For sale/For rent”. Then create a new price field in Flex and name it “Rent Price” . Then edit your desired property and assign it to the new listing type that you created and insert the sale price into normal price field of WPL. Then insert the rent price into the new field that you created.

This way both of sale and rent price will show on property details page.

Method 2

Why you don't add two listings for one property? It's very logical if you add two different listing for same property. One For Sale and another one For Rent.

The final shortcode will be [wpl_property_show mls_id="1062"] if you insert 1062 as the Listing ID.

After that, you can create a menu for the created page as well and put it in your desired theme position if you like.

Also if you prefer, you can add currency switcher activity in one of WPL activity positions. For this, you would need to navigate to WPL->Activity Manager and add unit_switcher activity to your desired position.

After setting up the Unit Switcher Widget or activity, your website's users are able to change the currency and see the prices in their desired currency. Also the search widget will change the price field accordingly.

Note: Right now, this feature works only for Currency units. So don't try it for other unit types.

For example, if you want to activate the Acre unit, select "Area" for unit type in the dropdown menu, then enable Acre. Please see the screenshot below:

After finalizing the property, property address won't show on frontend pages such as property listing, property show etc. Also property marker won't show on maps.

If you want to change the hidden location message, you can do it through WPL->Settings->Location.

To hide zero values in the front end, complete the following:

1- If you do not need these fields at all you can disable them using the 'Flex' menu. Check this KB article for more information.

2- If you are using these fields, but not for all listings, you can use the feature below:

'If Zero' feature for numeric and unit fields

Go to 'Flex' and click on the 'Edit' icon of a numeric field or unit field:

Set the 'If zero' option to 'hide' instead of 'show' and click on the 'Save' button. You're done!

To manage Property Types: Go to WPL->Data Structure->Property Types.

In this menu you can edit/delete/enable/disable/sort current items and add new items. 

To delete an item you have 2 options:

1- Purge all related properties to that item.

2- Assign related properties to a new item.

You can edit existing categories' names, change their position or disable/enable them. Also you can add new data category if you like.

After adding new category, you can move the existing fields or new fields to this category.

In this menu, you can simply rename the sort options or set different labels for their Ascending and Descending labels. Also you're able to change position of the sort options. Even you can disable Ascending or Descending type of sort options.

Note: You cannot change actual meaning and function of a sort option by changing its name. For example. if you change 'Listing ID' to 'Status', it will still sort the listings by Listing ID.

Add/Remove Sort Options

WPL 3.0 introduces new features to adding a new sort option or remove existing sort options through "WPL->Flex"

Note: There are some fields that cannot be added to the sort options.

Note: Also there are some fields that cannot be removed from the sort options.

Property Type Category->sf_ptcategory="Land" or sf_ptcategory="Commercial"

Listing Type Category->sf_ltcategory="Rental" or sf_ltcategory="Vacational"

Therefor your complete shortcode wil be: [WPL sf_ptcategory="Commercial"] or [WPL sf_ltcategory="Rental"]

In this case you can manually edit the shortcode parameters to achieve your target. First of all, you need to know the listing type ID's or property type ID's. For this you can go to WPL->Data Structure->Property Types or WPL->Data Structure->Listing Types and check the property type ID's or listing type ID's. Please see the screenshots below:

Then you can change the shortcode parameter to a multiple parameter. You would need to remove sf_select_property_type="51" and add sf_multiple_property_type="51,160" to the shortcode. Please check the screenshot below:
