"Oops! Something went wrong" error on Google Maps!
Posted by Howard R. on 24 June 2016 03:32 AM

From June 22nd 2016 Google won't provide service for key-less requests: http://googlegeodevelopers.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/building-for-scale-updates-to-google.html so you should set a Google API key into WPL->Settings->Global->Google API key

Please check "How to make an API on Google" guide for getting an API key.

Hi!
I am currently testing plugin on localhost. Already entered Google API (actually, tried two API keys so far), but still get notification "Oops! Something went wrong" on gmaps. Any advice?

thanx!

Please check the browser’s developer console to see what is the problem exactly (typically by pressing F12 the developer console will open)
If you see an error like “NoApiKeys” possibly you are using a cache plugin and the page has been cached, clear the page cache and try again.
For other errors, follow the link which the error itself suggests.
Finally, If you couldn’t sort it out, Please open a ticket for our technical staffs.
