How to hide zero values on property listing and property show pages of WPL
Posted by Howard R. on 22 October 2014 07:07 AM

WPL PRO has a feature for hiding zero values on single property pages (Property show) or listings pages. Th default values of numeric and unit fields are 0 and if you do not change them, it will show a 0 as the value in the frontend. For example: Floor number, Built year, etc will show a 0 on the frontend if you do not put a value in for them.

To hide zero values in the front end, complete the following:

1- If you do not need these fields at all you can disable them using the 'Flex' menu. Check this KB article for more information.

2- If you are using these fields, but not for all listings, you can use the feature below:

'If Zero' feature for numeric and unit fields

Go to 'Flex' and click on the 'Edit' icon of a numeric field or unit field:

Set the 'If zero' option to 'hide' instead of 'show' and click on the 'Save' button. You're done!

This works on the detail listing page but not the full listings widget. Going to submit a help desk ticket on this but thanks!

Hi Skeeter! I know you submitted a ticket and got your problem resolved, but just wanted to respond here as well to be a resource for future questions :)

In this case, you want to clear your browser cache before checking how any of your new settings work. This way, you are sure the see the most current changes instead of your cashed files. :)
