Can I translate keywords in language .ini files instead of using the RPL language manager?

Yes! You can, but you should follow these steps to prevent overwriting your translations by mistake:

  1. For editing .ini language files, simply download all language files from your website for all languages you have, edit them and make changes and translations you want, then upload them to your website, overwriting old files.
  2. Go to the back-end > RPL > language manager and delete all the records from interface. This only deletes records from the database, not your translated files.
  3. After deleting all, Press the "Load Languages" icon on the top of the language manager interface. This way all of your translations would be loaded.

Now you are done :)

Note: If you miss these steps, it is highly possible that you lose your translations by an add-on package installation or an update!
